Navy Transitional Style Kitchen Cabinets
Fairgrounds
A Transitional Kitchen Designed for a Local Restaurateur
This historic, turn of the century home is located in the Fairgrounds neighborhood, which is a famous area where Jazz Fest is held. The home belongs to a well-known local restaurateur who wanted a more transitional style kitchen, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen was moved to what was formerly the living area in order to create more space. The beautiful navy blue Wood Mode cabinets complimented by the dark wood floors add a bold but welcoming element to the space. In the bar area, we installed a hidden blender that is both functional and dazzling for entertaining guests. We used both Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances and partnered with a metal fabricator to build the hood.
