A Transitional Style Kitchen for a Working Farmhouse
This modern farmhouse was newly constructed and has a wide open floor plan. It was located on a working farm where we worked closely with its owner to incorporate beautiful details into the design. For the cabinetry, we used a transitional style that combines clean lines and traditional embellishments. The hardware used on the custom cabinet pieces provided a nice contrast against the neutral paint and matched the light fixtures. We incorporated a built-in Sub-Zero refrigeration unit as well as Wolf stove appliances. The island featured a custom Grothouse wood top made from hand-planed walnut. The shiplap accent walls and bright blue seating brought this farmhouse kitchen to life and tied the design together.
